NYIMA' s story
Because of its rugged topographical feature, this region remains one of the most isolated Himalayan locations in Nepal's Gorkha district. It can be reached on foot for five to six days. The only option to carry things is to use donkeys or helicopter services, both of which are prohibitively expensive. The majority of the locals cannot afford it. This area is known as Nubri in Tibetan, which means "western mountain." Mount Manaslu can be found in the west. The people's lifestyles are quite modest and rural. Because of the high altitude and limited agricultural space, they can only grow a few crops such as barley, corn, and potatoes. Culture is abundant, and lifestyles are strongly ingrained. The local dialects are Tibetan language varieties.

Children like Nyima confront enormous obstacles from an early age in their lives. Nyima's childhood was beyond our wildest dreams. A single mother who is overlooked, exploited, and discouraged. Has a child, the identity of whose father cannot be divulged. How can a distraught and impoverished mother care for her newborn daughter? Unfortunately, children like Nyima are born to suffer and face challenges from birth. Society has completely neglected her and her family has mistreated her. Children like her are the true sufferers of society's problems. Never had the opportunity to experience genuine compassion and love from anyone. Her childhood was spent starving and sobbing for days. As she grew older, her mother married and left her alone with her grandparents, who were struggling to make ends meet. Her grandparents were trying to generate enough food for themselves because they were seasonal subsistence farmers. The child was completely disregarded while the mother pursued her own family life. She is now desperate and traumatized. A nightmare she didn't ask for. In the meantime, her mother gives birth to a girl. With the misfortune of her short life. She couldn't bear the thought of a happy marriage. Divorce was avoided. Unfortunately, she is a single mother with a baby girl. The cycle of misery unfolds gradually. An unlucky mother who is doomed to suffer for the rest of her life. A single mother with two unwanted girls by their fathers, but with Nyima Sangmo at school, she will have an easier time surviving. Fortunately, Nyima has acclimated well to her new environment, where she has access to all essential amenities as well as a good education system. She has been with us for the past seven years. Finally, a place she can call home. For the first time, she can fully feel and comprehend genuine people's love and affection.
